[4642] Audio / Video (AV) Service Support

Location: Brunssum, The Netherlands – 90% / Castlegate bunker, Germany – 10% (the above indicated proportion can change depending the amount of exercises conducted in the Castlegate bunker)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• The required Service Contract support needs to provide the following skills, knowledge and experience:
• Experience in technical administration of POLYCOM Systems
• Good knowledge of different AV equipment such as Codec’s, mixers, media converters, beamers and the connection in-between
• Experience with the build-up of a conference room and the setup of the network connection
• Basic skills on LAN switches and local cable infrastructure (FO cable, media converters, LAN test equipment etc.)
• Basic theoretical AV knowledge such as Audio protocols like Dante, voice compression, etc.
• Good team spirit, English language skills Stanag 3-3-3
Activities
• Contractor’s personnel will provide the services as part of an existing team of people supporting the above-mentioned AV Services and locations and will not be working independently. Due to an increased number of activities, additional support services are required.
• The contractor will support the CSU at Brunssum & Castlegate by solving at least 75% of all Incidents, Tasks and Work Orders related to A/V, at level 1 and level 2.
• The Contractor will support only those items registered in the Provider Inventory Database, and will support the baseline equipment and configuration for the conference rooms (table provided below).
• Other Peripherals supported by the Local A/V support are IP TVs, Projectors, Smartboards and Mobile audio amplification and distribution system.
• Complete required asset handling and registration documents in accordance with NATO directives.
• Respond on every Incident, Task and/ or Work Order for standard VTC conference rooms - Approximately 30 incidents per month/
• Respond on all related Incidents, Work Orders and Tasks for specific, High Operational areas - Approximately 15 incidents per month
• Respond on all related Incidents, Work Orders and Tasks for IPTV system related failures - Approximately 10 incidents per month
• Cooperate with the second and third level of support (NCIA Internal resolver groups and external Providers) - Approximately 10 close cooperation per month
• Check all AV critical functionality in high Operational Areas - 2 hours per day
• Support to IPTV configuration request - Approximately 5 requests per month
• Support user request with Multicast streaming - Approximately 1 per month
• On demand, reconfigure channels on streamers - Approximately 5 per month
• Support the AV equipment located outside Conference rooms like office, meeting rooms etc. - Monthly average of 15 INC, Work Orders and Tasks
• Assist CSU Storekeeper with transportation from Central Warehouse to CSU Facility
• Complete any asset handling and registration documents in accordance with NATO directives
